A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT ,1�?1-
NO. 331.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MON-
TANA :
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of
the City of Kalispell, Montana, to create Special Improvement Dis-
trict No. 331 for the following described property, except public
- streets and public parkland therein:

All platted lots within the resubdivision of
South Meadows Addition #81 to the City of
Kalispell except lots 10, 34, 48 & 68, accord-
ing to the plat filed of record thereof in
the office of the Flathead County Clerk and
Recorder, Kalispell, Montana.
SECTION 2. That the general character of the improvements to
be made in said proposed Special Improvement District is: Con-
struction of the approach roads, Ashley Creek crossing, and other
improvements basic to the entire subdivision except sewer and water.
SECTION 3. That the estimated cost of said improvements is
$33.0,000.00.
SECTION 4. That the entire cost and expense of said improve-
ments shall be assessed against each lot within the district to be
assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears to
the area of the entire district.
SECTION 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in full up-
on completion of the contract, or shall be paid in 20 equal install-
ments, hereby extended over a period of 20 years. Said assessment
shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement District
No. 331.
SECTION 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Spe-
cial Improvement District Warrants issued against said district in
sums not to exceed $1,000.00 each, bearing interest at a rate that
is no greater than allowed by the laws of the State of Montana
from the date of registration until called for redemption or paid
in full.
SECTION 7. That on the 15th day of June , 1981, at
7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall in the City of
Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting thereof, the City Coun-
cil will hear and pass on any protests that may be made against the
making of said improvements or the creation of said district.
SECTION 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by
publication and mailing as required by law, such publication to
be made in a daily newspaper and/or a weekly newspaper published
in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALIS-
PELL, MONTANA, THIS 4TH DAY OF MAY, 1981.
