A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ANNEX TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
TO BE KNOWN AS JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL ADDITION #97 AND TO FIX THE DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING THEREON; TO PROVIDE FOR PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF SAID
HEARING.
WHEREAS, School District #5 and Flathead County, political subdi-
visions of the State of Montana, have made petition to the City of
Kalispell for annexation to said City of certain territory to be known
as Junior High School Addition #97; and
WHEREAS, a preliminary plat thereof has been reviewed and con-
sidered in accord with the laws of the State of Montana and the sub-
division regulations of the City of Kalispell by the Kalispell City -
County Planning Board and said Board has, by communication dated
, recommended that said petition be granted under
certain conditions; and it appears that said conditions are or will
be adequately satisfied, and that it is to the best interest of the
City of Kalispell that said petition be granted,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, AS FOLLOWS:
1. It is the intention of the City of Kalispell that territory
comprising Junior High School Addition #97 shall be annexed to the
City of Kalispell and shall be classified Residential R-4 as provided
by the City of Kalispell Zoning Ordinance. Said territory is more
particularly described as follows:
TRACT 1. Lot twenty-two (22), Block two (2) of
Northwest Tracts in Section 1, Township 28N, Range
22 W. According to the plat thereof on file and
on record in the office of the Clerk and Recorder
of Flathead County, Montana.
TRACT 2. That portion of a roadway shown on The
Plat of Northwest Tracts north of Three Mile Drive
and South of the North border of Lot 13, Block 2,
and Lot 29, Block One.of'said Northwest Tracts.,. and
running between Blocks One and Two of said North-
west Tracts, all located in Section 1, Township
28 N. Range 22 W. and as recorded in the office
of the Flathead County Clerk and Recorder.
2. A public hearing on said petition for annexation will be
held by the Kalispell City Council at its regular meeting held in the
Council Chambers of the Kalispell City Hall commencing at 7:30 P.M.
on the 6th day of April, 1981.
3. The City Clerk will forthwith prepare and publish in the
Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published at Kalispell, Montana,
proper notice of said public hearing. Said petitioner shall pay all
costs of publication'of said notice.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, AND
APPROVED BY THE MAYOR THIS 2ND DAY OF MARCH, 1981.
