$25,382.82. This cost is $382.82 more than budgeted.

Hutton Addition Water Main Extension
Mike Fraser, of Thomas, Dean and Hoskins, stated the bids received were in order and

Fraser noted the LHC bid had a computation error which increased their bid by $1.06.
Councilman Furlong asked about the extreme difference in the bids on item #10. Fraser
didn't think the difference was something which would red flag the bids. Fraser
said the Engineer's estimate is $133,000.
Councilman Nystul asked if all permits are in order. Fraser said permit application
has been made with the Montana State Highway Department for boring under Highway 93
North and approval is expected this week.
Councilman Nystul moved to accept and award the bid to Pack and Company. Councilman
Saverud seconded.
Mayor Kennedy said enough money should be held out to take care of all the details of
the job. DPW Hammer reported $160,000 is budgeted.
The motion carried unanimously.

Mayor Kennedy reported the Evergreen Water Board wants to meet with the council to
review and discuss the proposed agreement between Evergreen and the City of Kalispell.
He referred the request to Water/Sewer Co mittee Chairman Nystul.

between the City of Kalispell and Evergreen and requested the article appearing in the

Mayor Kennedy and Councilman Nystul will prepare a written statement for the Daily
