APPROVE' MINUTES' Councilman Manning moved the minutes of the August 12, 1985 Special Council meeting be approved as presented Councilman Palmer seconded and.the motion carried. Approval of the minuVEFs:of the August 16, 1985 special;meeting was tabled until the next meeting to allow -the clerk to listen to the tape for a possible overlooked motion. PUBLIC HEARINGS: Cam- er Addition: #188 Mayor 'McDowell opened the public ''hearing and called for proponents, 'and oppolaerits. There were none`,. Councilman Manning requested the hearing be continued until,Ocitober 7, 1985 and the Mayor -so declared. ADDRESSING THE COUNCIL Mayor McDowell called for anyone, requesting to address the council.'. No one responded, COMMITTEE REPORTS: STREET & ALLEY Councilman Palmer :announced there would be .a. Street• and Alley Committee'.meeting Thursday' September 5, 1985. Agenda items includ6 the 'Center, Street sanitarytrunk line. Councilman Palmer reported the Decorative Lighting contractor is willing to provide the Tights and it will take about 8 to Y2:weeks. City Attorney Neier explained.what is'going on. The contractor would like an extension of,time to complete the contract. The. request. °for p'ermision to be hooked up to Walker's 6 inch service line temporarily, until the:city:makes sewer service: available to :the whole area.
