COUPE RENCE ROOM - CITY HALL 10:00 A. M. FRTDAY 10-15-82
Present were Mayor McDowell, Councilman Zauner, City Attorney Neier, Police
Chief Stefanie, Asst. Police Chief Hellman, Detective Hossack, and Phillip
Zier.
The meeting was for the purpose of a public hearing on the application of
Phillip Zier for a gaming license for The Finish Line.
Detective Hossack recommended the gaming license be issued.
There were no opponents.
Councilman Zauner moved The Finish Line be issued a gaming license. Seconded
by City Attorney Neier. Motion carried.
Brad Shoepf inquired about a gaming license to distribute bingo and keno
machines. City Attorney Neier stated that our present regulations would
require a gaming license as owner of the machines and each establishment where
they were placed would be required to have a gaming license in the name of
both the owner and Mr. Shoepf. City Attorney Neier stated that our gaming
regulations do not address bingo and keno machines and needs to be updated.
Councilman. Zauner moved to direct City Attorney Neier to amend the gaming
regulations to include requirements and fees for bingo anal keno machines,
following Flathead County regulations. Seconded by Chief Stefanie. Carried.
