GENTLEMEN:
There will be a Special Meeting of the City Council, Tuesday, November 10, 1981 at
3:30 P. M. in the Council Chambers at City Fall for the following purpose:
Appoint Gayle Vidal to Kalispell City Council
Adopt -Salary Ordinance
.. We, the undersigned, being all of the members of the City Council, do hereby waive
notice of the date and purpose of the Spe ci al Meeting Lof the City Council to be held
Tuesday, November 10, 19.81at 3130 P�M•, in the Council Chambers at City Hall and consent
to the transaction of the above and any other business that may properlk come before the
City Council.

A Special Meeting of the Kalispell City Council was held at 3130 P. M,
Tuesday, November 10, 1981 in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Mayor
Happ presided. Councilmen Smith, Ruiz, Zauner, O'Boyle, Granmo and
Grainger present, Coun ci lman Daley absent because of illness,
At the request of Mayor Happ Councilman O'Boyle moved Council confirma-
tion of the appointment of J. Austin Miller to the Parking Commission
to replace Bob Allen, Seconded by Councilman Smith, Motion carried,
Due to a previous appointment, Councilman Elect Gayle Vidal could not
be present to,be sworn in as replacement for the vacancy left by the
resignation of Wayne Saverud for Ward 11.

Councilman Ruiz moved first reading of Ordinance #994, an ordinance
setting the annual salary for City officials and employees. Seconded

SEWpR AUDIT
Goun cilm an' Gr anmo read a letter from the -midit firm of Jordahl'„
Siiter and Bragg requesting the sewer audit for the year ending
June 1981. The firm has just completed the previous year which was
Late because of the new accounting system adopted by the City. Our
sewer bond ordinance -requests that an audit be made 90 days after the
close of each fiscal year, so if we authorize an audit now, we will
be conforming.
Councilman Granmo moved that Mayor Happ be authorized to sign the
letter authorizing Jordahl, Sliter and Bragg to do the sewer akidit
for the year ending June 1981, Seconded by Councilman O"Boyle,
Carried.
Council members discussed the garbage assessment, The assessment
