11/16/92 City Council Minutes051 4 514 A REGULAR MEETING OF THE KALISPELL CITY COUNCIL WAS HELD AT 7:00 P.M. MONDAY, NOVEMBER 161 1992, IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL. MAYOR RAUTHE PRESIDED. ALL COUNCILMEMBERS WERE PRESENT. Mayor Rauthe called the meeting Allegiance. CONSENT AGENDA Approve Minutes -November 2, 1992 Approve Claims per Payables Regist r. After more discussion it was agreed to contact the dealers and try to find out the reason for not submitting bids. With a vote the motion carried. Police Staff Car Bids were opened for one new Police Department staff car. Three bids were received 1) Bob Meier-$13,265.00 2) Roy Stanley- $16,609.00 and 3) Rygg Ford-$15,679.00. The low bid of Bob Meier Oldsmobile of $13,265.00 meets the specifications and the Police Chief and Williams are recommending the award to the low bidder. The budget for this purchase is $14,000. Larson moved to award the bid for the police staff car to Bob Meier in the amount of $13,265.00. The motion was seconded. The motion carried with a vote. Meter Maid Vehicle Bids were opened for received from Midland $10,358. The budget has reviewed the bid indicates it meets the award. one meter maid vehicle. Animal Warden Van Bids were opened on November 16, 1992 for the animal control van. One bid was received from Bob Meier Oldsmobile in the amount of $15,805.00 for a 1993 Safari van. Kennedy moved to award the animal control van bid to Bob Meier Oldsmobile for the 1993 Safari van in the amount of $15,805.00. The motion was seconded. The motion carried with a vote. KPA Request Williams passed out correspondence from the Kalispell Police Association of a list of proposals that the R.P.A. would like to implement in order to rerslve the current Unfair Labor Practice filed against the City concerning the officers being picked up during shift change. PECDD Director Interviews The interviews for the PECDD Director were completed on 11/13/92.
