A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE KALISPELL CITY COUNCIL WAS HELD AT 9:40
P.M. MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 1992, IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT CITY
HALL. MAYOR RAUTHE PRESIDED. COUNCILPERSONS KENNEDY AND NYSTUL
WERE ABSENT AND ALL OTHER COUNCILMEMBERS WERE PRESENT.
Mayor Rauthe called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of
Allegiance.
BUSINESS FROM MANAGER
Discussion and Action on expanding the Benefits of the Group
Health Insurance for City Employees to include Dental and Vision.
Williams explained the Self Funded Health Insurance Program
including the proposed expansion of benefits to include dental
and vision coverage.

City paying for the dental coverage and the employee paying for
the vision if desired.
Buck moved for the City to pay for the additional dental benefit
and optional for the employee to pay for the vision coverage.
The motion was seconded.
Atkinson and Rauthe spoke in favor of the motion.
Granmo spoke against the motion.
Upon vote the motion carried with: Granmo voting against.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:37 p.m.
