Stephen Snipstead Faith Free Lutheran Church 405 Liberty Street Kalispell, MT 59901 LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Assessor's Tract SAL, Olson First Addition and Lot 6,Block 2, Olson Addition, Section 12, Township 28 North, Range 22 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana OWNER: Kalispell Assembly of God Church 255 Summit Ridge Drive Kalispell, MT 59901 ZONE: Two Family Residential, R-4 The applicants have applied to the City of Kalispell for a conditional use permit to allow for an expansion of an existing church on property located adjacent to the North of the church property. The addition would include an attached octagonal building on the north side of the existing sanctuary. A rectangular shaped building for classrooms would be constructed on the west end of the new octagon sanctuary. The existing church would be used as a foyer and for office space after the new sanctuary is built. The Kalispell City -County Planning Board and Zoning Commission, after due and proper notice, on May 23, 2000, held a public hearing on the application, took public comment and recommended that the application be approved subject to five conditions. After reviewing the application, the record, the FRDO report, and after duly considering the matter, the City Council of the City of Kalispell, pursuant to the Kalispell Zoning Ordinance, hereby • 2000160 , 4ggb adopts Flathead Regional Development Office, Conditional Use Report #KCU-00-03 as the Council Is findings of fact, and issues and grants to the above -described real property a conditional use permit to allow the addition onto the existing Faith Free Lutheran Church, in a Two Family Residential, R-4 zoning district subject to the following conditions: SECTION I. 1. That the proposal will be developed in substantial conformance with the approved site plan, which shall govern the location of the buildings and access. Modifications to the location of the parking lot can be anticipated, as the project is refined. 2. That the City of Kalispell Building Department and the Kalispell Fire Department shall review and approve the building plans and fire suppression system for compliance with the applicable building and fire codes. 3. That an easement agreement be provided that grants the applicants access to the private road and utility easement to the west that is proposed to be used as an alternate access / exit to the site and that the existing western access onto Liberty Street be abandoned by eliminating the existing curb cut. 4. That an engineered drainage plan utilizing on -site detention methods shall be reviewed and approved by the Kalispell Public Works Department. 5. This permit is valid for a period of 18 months after which time it will terminate if commencement of authorized activity has not begun.
