Kalispell Medical Arts and Northwest Imaging have applied to
the City of Kalispell for a conditional use permit to place two (2)
60 by 13.5 foot modular buildings on an existing parking lot for
use as a temporary MRI facility. The buildings will be staggered,
creating a 60 by 27 foot building, and no existing parking will be
lost.
The Kalispell City -County Planning Board and Zoning
Commission, after due and proper notice, on November 14, 2000 held
a public hearing on the application, took public comment and
recommended that the application be approved subject to five
conditions.
After reviewing the application, the record, the FRDO report,
and after duly considering the matter, the City Council of the City
of Kalispell, pursuant to the Kalispell Zoning Ordinance, hereby
adopts Flathead Regional Development Office, Conditional Use Report
4KCU-00-9 as the Council's findings of fact, and issues and grants

to the above -described real property a conditional use permit to
allow the placement of two (2) 60 by 13.5 foot modular units on an
existing parking lot for use as a temporary MRI facility in the H-
1, Hospital zoning district subject to the following conditions:
1. The proposal will be developed in substantial conformance
with the approved site plan and the Kalispell _Zoning
ordinance.
2. The modular building shall comply with the requirements
of the Uniform Fire Code and applicable building codes.
3. The applicants demonstrate to the zoning administrator
that the parking for the site complies with the
requirements of the Kalispell Zoning Ordinance.
4. This building will be occupied on a temporary basis for
a maximum of up to three years, or until December 31,
2003, and shall be removed within 30 days from the time
the use is discontinued. The property owners will notify
the Flathead Regional Development Office in writing that
the building has been removed from the site at the time
of its removal.
5. This permit is valid for a period of 18 months after
which time it will terminate if commencement of
authorized activity has not begun. Activity can be
demonstrated by a continuous, good faith effort to secure
financing, permits, engineering and design.
