Approved 6-0.
None
Taco Bell — 535 E Idaho; new freestanding sign (replacing existing). Probably a purple
pole. Will be placed in existing landscaped area. Bill moved to approve; Russ seconded.
Approved 7-0.
Montana Club — 1301 Hwy 93 S; new restaurant/casino (replacing Sawbucks). 4-sided
design. Will put in sidewalks. Screening the service area. Materials include a stone
wainscot, columns, board and batten, some shingle siding, earthy red asphalt shingle roof,
and log accents. The east side towards Ist Ave could be broken up a bit with windows.
There are no windows in the current design because it is the kitchen area. Faux windows
could work in the shingle area matching other windows. John moved to approve with the
condition that the faux windows be added; Carol seconded. Approved 7-0.
Bojangles — 1319 Hwy 2 W; parking lot expansion and new storage buildings. Applicant
is not present. Committee would like to see additional landscaping within asphalt area,
more buffering (particularly with evergreen trees) along the perimeter, and more buffering
of the sheds. Discussion regarding possible table versus approval with conditions. Bill
moved to approve subject to the condition that no work be commenced and no building
permits be issued until such time that a landscaping and buffering plan is reviewed and
approved by the committee. John seconded. Approved 6-1 (Corey dissented).
Other Discussion:
Mountain Mudd — Parks is working on pulling the bond for landscaping.
