Dear Kalispell City Council,
As a person who works with the elderly, low income and medically challenged individuals in our
community I want to voice my support for Accessory Dwelling Units. Our seniors who are trying to
live on Social Security are struggling to survive and an ADU can make the difference in their lives
financially. It can also build a sense of community when a younger generation lives near an older
generation.
Our community needs more affordable housing as well as more opportunities for a second income
and I support allowing more ADUs.
