1. Soil was removed from the Glacier Rail Park after the project went to bid on May 7, 2017. The bid contained cut and
fill quantities calculated using the most recent existing grading surface at the time of bidding. All soil removal was
stopped at the end of June. A new topographic survey was conducted in early July by KLJ and data shared with
LHC. Both parties recalculated cut and fill quantities. The difference between cut quantities between KLJ and LHC
was less than 2%. The City of Kalispell, KLJ, and LHC all agreed to use the final cut and fill quanities calculated by
LHC.
