Aimee-
I received the comment below from one of the neighbors of Montana Basecamp. They heard about it
on the radio and called me on Friday. In any case, I am forwarding it to you to send on to Council for
the work session.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Basecamp Stay Extension
Hello PJ – thanks for your time yesterday and clear description of the upcoming process concerning
Basecamp visitor stay limits. In the interest of ease and consistency, I have simply reattached my
initial 2018 letter that stated our concerns and views about the proposed RV park at that time. Our
attitude about extended stay potential to create a general trailer house slum look has not changed.
Our little pocket community is one we enjoy that has intrinsic property value which we do not want
to see compromised. We were willing to go along with the RV park plans with the understanding that
it would be relatively short term annual occupancy of upscale motor coaches and their owners. To
now contemplate turning it into a mancamp for construction workers to winter over is exactly the
type of usage that concerned us all along, skirting and all. The aforementioned slippery slope, if you
will…
Thanks again for your cooperation. My email is ford406@outlook.com and cell is 885-3345. Our HOA
will look forward to getting notice from your office when it comes time for public comment.
