Re: BID Board appointments
Mayor Johnson and members of the Council,
With the closure of Flair Gift and Cards on Main Street this past month, The Kalispell Business Improvement
District accepted the resignation of Ryan Berweger from the Board of Directors. Additionally, Maggie Doherty
has made the determination that she can no longer serve on the Board effective immediately.
Please find this our unanimous recommendation to appoint Jon Fetveit to fill the remaining term of Maggie
Doherty through April 30, 2022 and Gabe Mariman owner of Bias Brewing to fill the remaining term of Ryan
Berweger which will expire on April 30, 2023.
It is our firm belief that the appointment of these individuals will assist us in our continued efforts to strengthen
the economy of Downtown Kalispell. Their dedication to the downtown is demonstrated not only in their
individual downtown business interests but also in their ability to coordinate efforts which sustain the economic
vitality of the District.
We look forward to your affirmative vote of confirmation at your earliest opportunity.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Pam Carbonari
