Motion approved unanimous.
New Business:
Interviews — Jarod will reach out to Cassidy Kipp and Sean O'Neill with CAP and
schedule an interview for the next meeting. If anyone has any questions they would like
to ask the CAP representatives please forward to Rod.
Flow Chart — Jarod reached out to CAP and there is not a flow chart for all the services in
the valley.
Emergency Shelter — Rod informed the group that the emergency shelter was closing on
the 11 th. Shelter was a huge success and can serve as a template moving forward, but
hope we can do better as it appears that only about 10-12% of the unsheltered population
utilized the shelter.
Pathways Community Network Institute— Rod has been in discussion with Bill Matson
and is obtaining as much data as he can from them. Data comes form the HMIS
(Homeless Management Information System). We need to find a better way to get flow of
data from HMIS system.
Inclusionary Zoning — Brief discussion about what inclusionary zoning is and the upside
and downside of such a program. Overall, the stats show that inclusionary zoning has
more downside then upside. Many municipalities that have gone in that direction in the
past are now focusing on housing supply, as lack of supply is the primary reason for
increased prices.
Meeting length —Brief discussion about having a little longer meetings in order to get all
the questions answered from our guests. Next meeting will be an 1.5 hours.
