Sponsor funds will be due on May 1st. It's ok to offer a Mansion book to sponsors. Brit will be doing a radio interview on KGEZ in early April. She will mention sponsorships. New Event proposals that have been mapped on the "Ned Cooney Matrix" Special Thanks to Katharine for hosting the meeting and providing dinner. Mark Schickendantz proposed a "virtual deed" similar to the Jack Daniel's Tennessee Squires Association promotion where people made a donation for a "deed" to property at the Jack Daniel Distillery. The event was nicely done and involved quality follow-ups for several subsequent years. This could benefit a designated area or purpose for the Mansion and would be very low impact on the house. Sue Corrigan proposed ideas for the Glacier Symphony Garden Party on Mansion grounds. She proposed making it more of a community event with $50-75 tickets. Stations around the grounds would feature a quartet or solo musician. Hors d'oeuvres and one complimentary glass of champagne would be provided with additional drinks available for sale. September 17t" was offered as a tentative date since John Zoltek will be overseas the following month. September works well as a kick off for the Symphony season. The Mansion could offer self -guided tours similar to the 4t" of July. Anniversaries to celebrate at this time include the 125t" anniversary of the Mansion and Beethoven's 250t" birthday. The event would be "Sunday Best" attire and family oriented. Would involve individual musicians (who are paid) as opposed to the entire symphony. Tents would be rented. Beth, Katharine, Cate, Sue and Diane volunteered to meet with Symphony. Sue also proposed Mansion involvement with the Downtown Business Association's Kreepy Crawl event in October. She proposed that the Mansion could be the start of the event where participants pick up glasses. Shuttles could provide rides downtown, and/or special lighted paths. This event is not on Halloween night. Katharine shared that Pam Carbonari suggested that the Mansion could have a display in an available store front downtown. Discussion about Halloween themed events turned to Stories in Stone, a Missoula event where actors dress as cemetery characters and tell stories. An event like this would work very well with the Conrad Mansion / Conrad Cemetery. Next Meeting will be held March 24t", 2020 at City Hall. 4:00 Sharing of event proposals will continue.
