Charlie:
Your Stokes memo is a very good summary of the past events, however it seems to leave out the final paragraph
of what direction the COK will take. I think the FAA needs to know what your "Tower Contingency Plan" is.
If the City does not believe it will come to any agreement with Stokes on the removal of the towers, is there
another avenue that should be described? Is the City's plan to:
a. continue to be part of Land and Radio Station discussions w/Gardner/MDT/mortgage company?
b. if all of the above fail, either by judicial decisions, or by a time schedule the City establishes (ie. 1-year,
18-months, 2-years), the city will take _______ action.
It might also be worthwhile to state that the appraised radio station value of $650,000 was determined from
comparable businesses and that Stokes would not allow his business records to be reviewed.
Let me know what you think should or should not be said.
