I went through the minutes books from 1945 to 1956 and found documentation for the airport in every year budget resolution. In 1945 resolution #1981 showed proposed budget expenses for insurance & repairs In 1946 resolution #2042 showed proposed budget expenses for insurance & repairs In 1947 resolution #2021 a sale of a portion of the airport property In 1947 resolution #2084 showed a revenue projection of $400 & also showed expenses In 1948 resolution #2120 showed a revenue projection of $585 & also showed expenses In 1949 resolution #2158 showed a revenue projection of $420 & also showed expenses In 1950 resolution #2184 showed a revenue projection of $420 & insurance only In 1951 resolution #2202 showed a revenue projection of $420 & also showed expenses In 1952 resolution #2224 showed a revenue projection of $900 & also showed a large jump in projected expenses. Usually expenses had been $400-500 but this year they jumped to $4200. It's possible that the rededication pertains to improvements. In 1953 resolution #2234, in 1954 resolution #2256, in 1955 resolution # 2266, and in 1956 resolution #2302 all showed projected revenue between $600-775. There were no expenses projected. It appears that the budget changed format in some cases and it is possible that the expenses became lumped with something different. The mayors were: Fred Keller 49-51 D M McBide 51-55 Claude Walter 55-59 Howard Hammer 59-61. I found a number for him. It is 755-6498. Hope some of this helps.
