Preliminary Trail Alignment and Design to be Debuted at the
NW Montana Fair
For Immediate Release: August 14, 2018 at 10 a.m.
City of Kalispell Planning and Community Development staff will be showcasing a
preliminary trail alignment and design forthe future Kalispell trail atthe NW Montana
Fair this week. They will have a booth set up in the Expo Building from 11 a.m. to 5
p.m. this Wednesday —Friday (August 15-17, 2018). The booth will feature a newly
drafted trail alignment and design based on community feedback and the opportunity
for the community to weigh in again. Recent dronefootage of the Glacier Industrial
Rail Park will also be on display on a large screen monitor along with other maps and
information. Fair goers will have a chance to take a look, talk with staff, fill out a survey
and sign up for future construction alerts and press releases from the city.
