On December 30, 2019 at approximately 3:10 p.m. the Kalispell Police
Department in partnership with the FBI acted on a tip of a possible felony
warrant on the north side of Kalispell. Kalispell Police Officers with an
Agent of the FBI were able to make contact with the suspect vehicle and
conduct a felony stop on Highway 93 North.
Officers identified and arrested Colorado resident Cynthia Abcug for a
warrant with a bond of $250,000 for Kidnapping 2-Of a Child W/ Weapon-
CSP issued by Douglas County, Colorado. One male was detained and
released on scene.
Abcug was transferred into the custody of the Flathead County Detention
Facility.
