In an effort to tla what is in the best interests of the community in light of recommendations from the
Health Department regarding the COVID-19 health outbreak, the Kalispell Parks and Recreation
Department has decided to close oil city owned playgrounds to the public. This includes all the
playgrounds listed on the attached city parks and amenities spreadsheet Res[moms in the parks
have not opened for the season and will remain closed for the foreseeable future. Gazebo rentals
have also been suspended.
We would also like to remind the public to utilize social distancing measures if using parks and trails,
giving others plenty of mom as we all do our part to flatten the curve of COVID-19 spread your
cooperation in this closure is greatly appreciated as we attempt to minimize the risks of the health
emergency, we are all facing.
