Dear Council Members,
When I heard that our county commissioners had appointed Dr. Bukacek to the Flathead
County Board of Health I was astounded and disappointed, because I'm familiar with thefringe medical spectre she operates in. Her views are well known if one reads the newspaper
and I don't think she represents the predominant medical/scientific community, and thereforehas no business being on an advisory board for the county. She probably serves her patients
with similar views just fine in her practice, but her medical oversight is tightly infused withher political beliefs and not appropriate for an advisory board. In this pandemic time, she's
undermined the message of the medical world and the advisement of our governor and this hasprompted me to write to you to take action. Her views and behaviors are dangerous to so
many people and she needs to be stopped immediately. Please take action to remove herfrom our Flathead County Board of Health and replace her with someone who puts thehealth of our residents above their own politics. She does not represent the best health careadvisement for us and foments divisiveness. She will continue to be a stain on this beautiful
valley. She endangers our health and the reputation of our valley. Especially at this time, wecannot afford to have her damage so much. We do not support Dr. Bukacek. Please
encourage our commissioners to remove Dr. Bukacek from her position on the Board ofHealth.
