Dear Councilors,
There is a health emergency in this country and in Flathead county. For the sake of your constituents, I
request that Dr. Annie Bukacek be removed from the board of the Flathead City-County Health
Department. Recently, Dr. Bukacek has been promoting dangerous misinformation about COVID-19 in
order to undermine safety recommendations from the health department and local hospitals.
Her campaign to discredit these health care authorities and create animosity in the community are
unbecoming of a medical professional and perhaps grounds for censure by her licensing board. Her
advice endangers the lives of many people in the valley, both from increased exposure to the corona
virus and exposure to the extremist groups that she supports.
Please support the safety of the Flathead Valley by denouncing Dr. Bukacek's activity and rescinding her
public position on the board of the health department.
