Mr. Mayor Johnson,
My name is Scott Strellnauer, I am the President of Pure West Real Estate in Montana. I am writing
as a partial commercial property owner in Kalispell. We have a small interest in a commercial strip
center that has tenants that will be impacted greatly by the slowdown due to the coronavirus issues
we are all facing. I also represent the owner of Hutton Ranch who has some similar concerns.
Are there any discussions about the possibility of reduction in city commercial taxes to ease some of
the burden? I know we are anticipating reductions in rent and or forgiveness’ of rents for a period of
time to help people out during this period. I would rather be in front of this issue rather than
reactionary in weeks or months ahead. I would welcome a discussion with you or the council if
