Dear Mayor Johnson and Kalispell City Council,
I write as a concerned Registered Nurse and Flathead County resident for the health of my community members
through this Covid-19 health emergency. Annie Bukacek’s position as a physician leader on the Flathead City-
County Health Board is very concerning to me.
She has posted recent YouTube videos downplaying the Covid-19 crisis. As you well know, she organized the
protest against the city declaring a state of emergency. Both actions I feel are extremely detrimental, irresponsible
& damaging messages to the health of our community. Our friends', neighbors', co-workers' and family’s lives are
at stake, and this is not the message that should be coming from a board member of our Flathead City-County
Health Board.
Health care workers such as myself do not want to see our community members needlessly suffer should we
continue to see more community spread and have surges at the hospital that we cannot adequately & humanely treat
with the limited amount of ventilators, staff, supplies and medications we have available.
What is the public route for trying to remove Annie Bukacek as a health board member?
