The Coronavirus Seems to Follow Where Countries Have Ties with Communist China
I recently read an editorial article in theepochtimes.com newspaper entitled “Where Ties With
Communist China Are Close, the Coronavirus Follows.” I find it interesting that the articlepointed out that outside of China - Italy, Iran, South Korea, and Japan – they all have deep ties
with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and it is where the spread of the virus is mostsevere. Italy, who is the most affected, has recently expanded its close ties with the CCP in
economic and geopolitical affairs; Iran has had a partnership with China since 2016; In SouthKorea, 1.4 million people have signed a petition calling for their president's removal because
of the countries close ties with the CCP; Japan, also has close economic ties to the CCP, withthe number of infected there that keeps increasing.
Taiwan, on the other hand, has been held as a model for epidemic control and seems tounderstand the consequences of aligning with the CCP. The same holds true for Hong Kong
whose citizens have worked so hard to keep the CCP out of their country.
Could it be that siding with the evil nature of the Chinese regime brings retribution? Let's hope
that America keeps on the side of goodness and upholds the universal values of truthfulness,compassion, and tolerance, as aligning with evil could bring disaster. For many centuries,
plagues and other calamities signaled the downfall of imperial dynasties. Could it be that thepandemic is a disaster that is linked to the communist party and its rule of terror that has been
going on for 70 years? It's no wonder that so far over 352 million Chinese citizens haverenounced their membership in the Communist Party.
