To Whom It May Concern,
The Northwest Montana Historical Society is aiming to replace just over half of the 82 HVAC valves and
actuators in the Central School building, valves and actuators that have gone bad over the years from
corrosion and normal wear -and -tear. We will also be flushing the entire HVAC system and refilling it
with an inhibitor solution to prevent further degradation. This project involves no new construction,
merely replacing parts tht have failed over the years and taking steps to ensure that the problem is
minimized in the future. As the director of the Northwest Montana History Museum, I know that steady
and controllable temperatures are important for creating an environment that can be enjoyed by the
many Museum guests and continuing to preserve the history of Kalispell and the Flathead Valley.
