It would seem to me that we have dealt for three weeks without a state of emergency declared
why would we need one now.
Whitefish is overstepping their bounds in applying more and more restrictions without theneed to do so. They no doubt see some way to get more money from the state or the federal
government by closing down lodging facilities that have few people vying for since they are intheir off (dead) season. Why appear to be like Missoula or Whitefish with their restrictive
practices on what few small business that can legally operate.
Our city seems to be in low risk scenario in light of the mega city situations so why actotherwise other than to pad the budget with additional federal dollars that are and will be
strapped.
Such a declaration is not needed to postpone public meetings.
What ingress or egress on all or part of the city is needed and why is law enforcement neededto do so? It is scary what health officials and the city manager could formulate to enhance the
already practical measures that are being employed at this time.
