Subject:[EXTERNAL] Kalispell Declaring State of Emergency

Regarding Kalispell declaring a state of emergency. As a younger, responsible member of the community employed
by our community college and involved in making sure the community well being is good, I believe we should not
declare Kalispell in a state of emergency. I think that it is going too overboard. I feel as if my rights as a human
being are being infringed upon and violated by possible curfews and block offs from the city. Let my correct
myself, “City”. We have so few cases of COVID 19 and we are doing an amazing job of slowing the curve in our
county. I’d encourage you to look at the projected percentage rates of recovery for the month of April that was put
out by the CDC.
I and my family will not respect Kalispell and it’s leadership as much as it does now if this order is put into effect.
Thank you.
