As a resident of the flathead valley I thank you for this opportunity. I see no reason what so
ever to declare a state of emergency in the FLATHEAD when there are hardly any cases andso much misinformation being put out on this matter,...it’s quite hard to knOw what to believe
but. Am seeing hardly any cases if any around here that are valid and the number is NOTGROWING, SO WHY DO WE DECLARE SUCH A THING???....all it will do is remove
more rights to citizens who have been complying with all that’s been asked of them and all Isee any time I do need to leave my house is people wearing masks gloves and respecting the
possible threats as they are taking precautions..so why enforce anything when no threat is evenproven, and stir up fear and reactions we don’t need as a community.
I have plenty of close family and friends who work at the hospital and they say this cov 19 isbeing blown way out of per portion and they are in the medical field working in the so called
disaster area. I ask you to please reconsider this action, it is unnecessary at this point.. whyshould residents of this valley lose more of their freedoms and rights when there is no threat
and no proof of a threat let alone no growing numbers in cv 19 cases in our community. .? We are already voluntarily locked down and people seem to be complying quite nicely
hoping for the best and not seeing growing numbers no riots no people acting crazy nothingout of sorts of ordinary everyday grinds, no numbers of any corona virus climbing, so telling
people when and what to do is just going to far. We have a great community and there’s no reason to go this far. No disrespect but it only
sounds like nothing but a money opportunity for the state / county to jump on at the expense ofall of us, and I vote no.
...especially at the risk of upsetting your community even farther, how much fea can people
tak , I mean a potential life threatening virus is scary enough without anyone adding EXTRAFEAR, that is not healthy either , our valley has been following requests happily complying
with the requests of staying indoors. And people are already scared enough as it is, enforcingthings and removing more rights involuntarily only worsens people reactions and I find it
unnecessary.. I certainly hope this community can maintain neighborly Montana care andkindness for one another as well as maintain individual care and concern for ourselves as well
as for each other like the great community that we are. Hearing words like ENFORCE, QUARANTINE, CURFEW just sounds scary and
threatening and as far as community members go many thinksthis valley is doing just FINE. . As for the Conrad mansion I vote no, that mansion is not a necessary expenditure especially
in a time like this, when families are in need in this community, I personally would like to seemy tax dollars helping families in need and children activities or alt programs over a silly
mansion and more law enforcement... that money could be spent elsewhere. As for “ ADOPTING new utility rates” , I’d like to know how and when does this matter also
lead to them REGLATING & “enforcing” yet another rule telling us how much we can use itand when?
Sorry if this letter isn’t properly structured but writing letters and emails isn’t my forte...I love
this Valley and the people are groeat, let’s keep it great TOGETHER, There are moresolutions to help a SMALL non threatening county get through this time, I wish everyone
well and hope correct decisions are made for all parties involved THANK YOU, manyblessing o us all....
sincerely, Lee
