To members of Kalispell City Council,
Please step back ! Take a deep breath !
The last I heard we have had one death in the Flathead and 6 total in Montana
purportedly as a result of the COVID-19 virus. As I understand it, we cannot for sure
confirm that all of these deaths are virus related since we have not had test
equipment to verify. 6 out of 1 million population. That is.000006%.
These deaths could be as a result of the annual flu season when America loses tensof thousands every year. In those times we are told to keep your kid home from
school; get your free flu shot; and life goes on. We are smart enough to know as
grown ups that if we feel sick and have a temp to stay home till we are better. This
system has worked just fine for decades.
I think we as adults can handle emergencies step by step when and if the time comes
that action needs to be taken. Please take time to look at the alternative news and
what is not going on with regard to the virus. The media is blowing this way out ofproportion. You certainly have heard that hospitals are basically empty of virus
sufferers. Our president got a Navy hospital ship into NY harbor. It has 1000 beds.
Only 20 are in use.
One last comment is that we do not need to be looking to spend money we do not
have and that our nation does not have esp when you take into account the above
data, for a bunch of "JUST IN CASE WE NEED IT" stuff. As God fearing folks we
will step up to the plate to take care of our valley when and if.
