Bidders shall acknowledge Addendum No. 1 through QuestCDN VBid submittal process. 1. In Section 00100 Invitation To Bid, paragraph eight (8), the content shall be revised to read “Bids will be received by QuestCDN until 2:00 P.M. on Monday, March 30, 2020. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the First Floor Conference Room, 201 First Avenue East, Kalispell, Montana 59901.” 2. In Section 00500 Agreement, Article 4. Contract Time, under Sub-Part 4.02, under paragraph A, Bid Alt 2, 3, 4, 5 shall be amended to read 20 Additional Calendar Days, not 10 Additional Calendar Days. 3. In Section 01045 Miscellaneous Work, Part 1: General, Sub-Part 1.1 Description, paragraph B, the content shall be revised to read “Miscellaneous work will be measured by the respective unit for material and/or work performed as directed in writing by the Engineer and approved by the Owner. All miscellaneous work must be submitted to engineer for review and recommendation with clear scope, measurement, and payment defined. Any award of miscellaneous work will be subject to Owner approval.” 4. In Appendix A: Miscellaneous Forms, Add Form “Miscellaneous Work Authorization” after Form COK-620 Application for Payment. 5. In Section 01150 Measurement And Payment, on page 01150-3, bid item 6 currently identified as Miscellaneous Removals, shall be amended to read “Miscellaneous Work”. The General paragraph, last sentence, shall be amended to read “Miscellaneous work will be measured by the respective unit for material and/or work performed as directed in writing by Engineer and approved by the Owner. All miscellaneous tasks are subject to owner approval and must be reviewed by the engineer prior to recommendation.” The Measurement paragraph shall be revised to “Measurement shall be reviewed and approved on a case by case basis,” not per lump sum basis. The Payment paragraph, second and third sentences shall be revised to read “The number of units in dollars set in the contract is an estimate amount only. This item will not be used unless owner approves the engineer’s written recommendation.” Page 2 of 2 6. In Section 01150 Measurement And Payment, on page 1150-3, in Base Bid Price, under Description currently identified as Schedule A: Intersection/Street Construction, shall be amended to read “Schedule A & B: Intersection/Street Construction & Parking Lot Construction.” 7. In Section 01150 Measurement and Payment, ADD under Base Bid Price, after Schedule A & B Intersection/Street Construction & Parking Lot Construction. Bid Item Description 45. Bollards, Chain, & Private Sign: General: This item shall include all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to complete excavation, backfill, base foundation, curing of concrete, all pre-molded mastic materials for expansion joints, and contraction joints, supply, and placement, of 6’’ dia. x 7’ steel post filled with concrete, with a standard brick base, 4,000 psi concrete 24’’W x 42’’D foundation, complete with a rounded concrete top, reflective tape, chain, and sign as identified on the plans. Placement shall be at the location as identified on the plans and integrate with the completed surrounding area. Coordinate post color and sign with City of Kalispell. Measurement: Measurement shall be on a lump sum basis. No measurement of individual items will be made. Payment: Payment shall be by the lump sum (LS) item listed and agreed upon. Payment will be made only after all work in this section is complete and has been accepted. 8.
