Approval of Minutes: Russ moved to approve the January 22 minutes; David seconded.
Approved 6-0
New Business:
Signs: Farmers Insurance – 245 Main St; projecting sign – Jolene Reum
present; Julia moved to approve; John second. Approved 6-0
Building Permits: Immanuel Lutheran Home – 40 Claremont; accessory
structure/garbage enclosure – no representative present – John
moved to approve; Janet seconded. Approved 6-0.
Old Business: KFC/A&W – 60 N Main St; awnings/building – Representatives
Rose Therrien, Joel Lundy & Brett Harris; Discussion regarding
cap/roof on top as well as size/orientation of stripes. Possibility of
wrapping the white front to the sides a bit. Discussed brick
appearance of base (applicant stated that it is not brick, just
stamped that way – they want to paint it grey). Russ moved to
approve the original design with the addition of the roof replacing
the existing pyramid cap over the front door; David seconded.
Approved 4-2 (Julia & John opposed).
Other Discussion: ARC guidelines discussion – PJ advised the board that the
planning board public hearing is tonight.
