Resolution 4292 - Change Order - Teton Terrace� 11-452 0 I RESOLUTION NO. 4292 A RESOLUTION TO ALTER AND AMEND THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF CONTRACT WITH SANDON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY ON THE TETON TERRACE PROJECT. WHEREAS, the City on July 8, 1996 did enter into a contract with Sandon Construction Company of 1600 Montana 35 East, Kalispell, Montana for construction of the Teton Terrace project, and WHEREAS, upon the advice and recommendation of Thomas, Dean & Hoskins, Inc., who is the City's consultant on said project, certain changes and alterations of design and specifications have been found necessary and advisable and in the best interests of the City; and said changes and alterations could not have been necessarily foreseeable when the original design and specifications were prepared on this phase of the construction of the Teton Terrace project, and said changes are contained in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and are by this reference made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, it appears in the best interests of the City to approve said changes and alterations. I NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-5- 4308(l) MCA be it hereby resolved: 1. The alterations and modifications of the specifications and plans of the contract between the City of Kalispell and Sandon Construction Company, dated August 19, 1996, as set out in Exhibit "A" attached hereto are hereby approved, and 2. As soon as the price to be paid for said alterations and modifications are agreed to in writing, signed by the contractor, as hereby approved by the Council, this approval thereof shall be in effect.
