Resolution 4039 - Sign Permit Fees
295 r-- RESOLUTION NO. 4039 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A SIGN PERMIT UNDER SECTION 27.24.140, SIGN REGULATIONS, CITY OF KALISPELL ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1175, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell did on the 17th day of February, 1992, adopt City of Kalispell Zoning Ordinance No. 1175, and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1175 contained Chapter 27.24, entitled Sign Regulations, providing comprehensive regulations of outdoor commercial advertisement within the City, and WHEREAS, Section 27.24.140 and Section 27.24.150 of Ordinance No. 1175 require that existing, newly erected, relocated or altered signs obtain a Sign Permit issued by the City of Kalispell Zoning Administrator and authorizes the City Council to establish a fee schedule for Sign Permits. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That the Sign Permit Fee, for each sign existing as of March 19, 1992, for which an Application for a Sign Permit is received on or before July 1, 1992 shall be the sum of five dollars ($5.00), with a maximum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per business. SECTION II. That the Sign erected, relocated or altered sign, an Application for a Sign Permit is shall be based upon valuation as Permit Fees, Uniform Building Code Building Permit Fees is attached thereby made a part hereof. Permit Fee, for each newly or existing signs for which received after July 1, 1992, established by the Building 1988 Edition, a copy of said hereto as Exhibit "A" and SECTION III. That the Sign Permit Fee, for each temporary sign erected, shall be the sum of fifteen dollars (115.00). SECTION IV. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
