RESOLUTION NO. 4019
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY OF KALISPELL FROM DANIEL J. EIGEMAN AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO OBTAIN AN APPRAISAL ON SAID PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell on September 6, 1991 received
a letter from Daniel J. Eigeman offering certain real property,
described in Exhibit "A", for sale to the City for the sum of
$25,000.00, and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of said property may be in the best
interests of the City of Kalispell, and
WHEREAS, the City deems it necessary to retain the services
of a real estate appraiser to establish a fair market value of
the property.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to investigate the purchase, by the City,
of the real property described in Exhibit "A" from
Daniel J. Eigeman.
SECTION II. That the City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to retain the services of a qualified real
estate appraiser to ascertain the fair market value of
said property.

A tract of land in the West half of the Southwest Quarter of
Section Eight, Township Twenty-eight North, Range Twenty-one
West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Block 191, of Kalispell
Townsite Company's Addition No. 2 to Kalispell, Montana,
according to the official plat of said Addition on file and of
record in the office of the County Clerk and Recorder of said
County of Flathead; thence
North 13049' West a distance of 50 feet to the Northerly boundary
of Railroad Street; thence
North 760Ill East a distance of 134 feet measured along the said
Northerly boundary of Railroad Street, to the true point of
beginning of the tract hereby conveyed; thence
North 13049' West a distance of 228.7 feet to the Southerly
boundary of the Great Northern Railway right-of-way; thence
Northeasterly and following the Southerly boundary of said right-
of-way, a distance of 271 feet to a point; thence
South 13049' East a distance of 194 feet to a point; thence
South 76011' West and parallel to Railroad Street a distance of
250 feet to a point; thence
South 13049' East a distance of 100 feet to the Northerly
boundary of Railroad Street; thence
South 76011' West along the Northerly boundary of Railroad Street
a distance of 16 feet to the point of beginning.
