A RESOLUTION REVISING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF PHASE 1 OF MONTANA
BASECAMP, DESCRIBED AS TRACT 1 AND TRACT 2 OF CERTIFICATE OF SURVEY 20796 IN
THE SOUTHERN HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 29 AND NORTH HALF
OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 32, TOWNSHIP 28 NORTH, RANGE 21 WEST,
P.M.M., FLATHEAD COUNTY, MONTANA.
WHEREAS, on September 4, 2018, the City Council passed Resolution 5900 approving the Preliminary
Subdivision Phase 1 Plat of applicant Montana Basecamp; and
WHEREAS, on June 3, 2019, Montana Basecamp filed its application for a Revised Preliminary
Subdivision Phase I Plat, signed by the owner of record and listing how each of the 41
conditions of the Preliminary Subdivision Phase I Plat have been met or otherwise addressed
to the satisfaction of the city staff, and
WHEREAS, the Kalispell City Planning staffed reviewed the application and compliance with the
conditions of the Preliminary Phase I Plat in accordance with Section 28.4 (Manufactured
Homes, Recreational Vehicle Parks and Campgrounds) of the Kalispell Subdivision
Regulations; and
WHEREAS, recreational vehicle parks are exempt from the surveying and filing requirements ofthe Montana
Subdivision and Platting Act, but must be submitted for review and approval by the Kalispell
City Council via a Revised Preliminary Plat before portions thereof may be leased; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that all of the conditions of the Preliminary Subdivision Phase I
Plat have been met or otherwise satisfactorily addressed and that an Improvement Agreement
supported by adequate security in the amount of $867,281.69 (125% of remaining cost) has
been executed in favor of the City of Kalispell.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the application of Basecamp Outpost, LLC for approval of the Revised
Preliminary Plat of Phase 1 of Montana Basecamp, Kalispell, Flathead County,
Montana is hereby approved with no further conditions for such phase.
SECTION 2. Upon completion of the remaining phases of the development and after proper review
and filing of the Final Plat of said subdivision in the office of the Flathead County
Clerk and Recorder, said premises shall be a subdivision of the City of Kalispell.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND SIGNED BY THE MAYOR OF THE CITY
OF KALISPELL THIS 1 ST DAY OF JULY, 2019.
