Re: FY2020 Budget Public Hearing
Meeting Date: July 1, 2019
BACKGROUND: At the June 17, 2019, regular meeting, City Council authorized the
expenditure of funds necessary for day to day operations from the Fiscal Year 2020 budget and
set a date of July 1, 2019, for holding a public hearing prior to the final adoption of the FY2020
budget.
On August 19, 2019, Council will consider the final budget and establish respective levies.
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council hold a public hearing and
accept public comment on the FY2020 budget.
