RE: Appointment of Alternate to the Flathead Emergency Communications
Center Board
BACKGROUND: The Flathead Emergency Communications Center (FECC) Administrative
Board (often referred to as the 911 Board) adopts administrative policies to govern FECC staff
rights, salary schedules, fringe benefits, and such other matters as may be proper and necessary to
the efficient and harmonious operation of the FECC. Board meetings are held every second
Wednesday of the month at 1:15 p.m. at the FECC Emergency Operations Center at 625
Timberwolf Parkway in Kalispell.
Currently, the city of Kalispell is represented on the board by Mayor Mark Johnson with
Councilor Kari Gabriel as an alternate.
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that Mayor Johnson appoint, with the
confirmation of Council, an elected official or other designee as the city representative alternate
on the Flathead Emergency Communications Center Board.
