BACKGROUND: The City of Kalispell Architectural Review Committee began an awards
program in 2010 to acknowledge quality development in the community that reflects the goals and
purpose of the committee, encouraging originality and innovation to protect and enhance the city's
character and appeal. While there have been a lot of examples of good, quality development within
the city over the past few years, they have selected the following projects from 2016 — 2017 for
special recognition:
Project: Coffee Traders (111 Main Street)
Contractor: Sunrise Builders
Architect/Engineer: Dia Sullivan
Project: Ray of Hope Women's Shelter (106 5"' Ave W)
Project: Glacier View Professional (165 Commons Loop)
Contractor: Hammerquist & Casalegno
Architect/Engineer: SRY Architecture and Dia Sullivan
RECOMMENDATION: Recognize Mark Norley, chair of the committee, to formally make the
presentation.
