SUBJECT: Bid Recommendation for a Used Tandem Axle Dump Truck
MEETING: November 5, 2018
BACKGROUND: Bids for a Used Dump Truck were opened on Thursday, October 25, 2018.
The procurement scope included the purchase of one used Tandem Axle Dump Truck for the
Streets Division.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Award the bid for the used Tandem Axle Dump Truck to
Woodpecker Truck in the amount of $89,500,00.
ACTION REQUESTED: Motion to award the bid for a used Tandem Axle Dump Truck to
Woodpecker truck of Pendleton, Oregon.
FISCAL EFFECTS: The purchase of the used Tandem Axle Dump Truck will be funded by the
Special Maintenance Streets Fund line item 2500-421-430240-940: used Tandem Axle Dump
Truck. A total of $115,000 was budgeted in FY 19 for the purchase of a used Dump Truck and
snow plow.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested and approved by the City Council.
