drainage all others are slanted slightly to drip. Board happy w/ entry awning but
would like to see changes to awnings on NW side of building, too busy and
needs to flow better. Janet moved to table the discussion until Mark Johnson
brings changes as requested, John seconded. Approved to table 7-0.
New Business:
(Janet Clark recused herself from ScottiBelli's discussion)
Signs: ScottiBelli's — 302 Main — signage — using existing sign on top of building,
grandfathered in, they are only replacing the panel. Coke sign will say Pepsi.
Board is not happy w/ Pepsi sign, feels it "cheapens" the facility. Would like to
see the frame of the sign re -painted. Billed moved to approve with consideration
of removing the Pepsi sign; Julie seconded. Approved 4-2.
(Janet Clark reseated)
Bldg Permits: Panera Bread — 2240 Hwy 93 N — new restaurant — board happy with design of
building; would like to see the dense shrub around parking lot flip flopped with
the less dense shrub around the drive thru to keep the headlights off of the
Highway. John moved to approve with consideration of the shrubbery being
moved around as discussed; Russ seconded. Approved 7-0.
(Julie Pierrottet had to leave early)
Distillery Square — 45 6' Ave W — remodel existing building — old style
western saloon feel, boardwalk style, removing existing roll up doors and
remodeling to change to store fronts; adding sidewalks, landscaping. Bill moved

look like brick, concrete will be colored to match the 911 building. Bill moved
