Ordinance 484 - Amends Ord 471 - Traffic Regulations418 r ORDINANCE No. 484 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE No. 471, PASSED AND APPROVED MAY SECOND, 1938, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS AND AVENUES AS ARTERIAL HIGHWAYS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA' ' Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 471, passed and approved May 2, 1938, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 333. Right-of-way at Intersections. A vehicle shall have the right-of-way over another vehicle which is approach- ing from the left at street intersections and shall give the right-of-way to a vehicle approaching from the right at street intersections except that vehicles traveling,on intersecting streets and avenues and vehicles traveling on intersecting highways shall come to a full stop before crossing arterial highways; and such arterial highways are hereby designated i as follows: MAIN STREET from the northerly line of Fifty Street South to the City limits, and from the southerly line of the (seat Northern Railroad Company's right-of-way north to the City limits. All of that portion of U. S. Highway No. 93 from its inter- section with Main Street north to the City limits. FIRST AVENUE EAST from the northerly line of Fifth Street south to the City limits. All of Idaho Street, being part of U.S.Highway No. 2, except ' its intersection with Main Street. SECOND STREET EAST from Second Avenue East to the City limits. SEVENTH STREET WEST from Main Street to the City limits. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect thirty days after its passage and approval.
