City Manager announced the appointment of David Hoerner to the Council to replace Rod
Bitney and the appointment of Richard R.apacilo to replace Torn Webber. Both terms are for
three years and will expire 4/3 0/09. Letters will be sent out in the near future.
Airport Managers Update:
New Leases are being signed on several sites and new hangars will be going up.
As of September 15, 2006 Income is $3 5,000 and Expenses are $11,000. That is for the
first three months of the fiscal year.
The airport ordered a new wheel mounted sprayer for spring delivery.
New runway light controller and antenna are in and awaiting installation.
Old welcome signs have been installed at two locations on the airport.
99' ers have agreed to paint the numbers on both ends of the runway, plus, the airport
name and elevation on a designated taxiway.
City is still waiting for the October 1" deadline for responses to the RFP on the K.GEG
tourer mitigation project.
Airport Manager excused himself to leave for another meeting.
Recommendation was made to hold Advisory Council Meeting Quarterly in the months of
November, February, May, and August on the third Wednesday at 4:00 P.M. at a location to be
determined. The motion passed unanimously. City Manager reserved the right to call a special
meeting at any time.
